Wheel balancing allows the tires and wheels to spin without causing vibrations. This is accomplished by putting the tire and wheel assembly on a computerized tire balancer which checks for heavy spots on the tire-wheel combination and compensating for it by placing a weight on the wheel opposite the heavy spot.

Out of balance tires will cause a vehicle to vibrate at certain speeds, usually 45 mph and up. Upon request we also sell the EQUAL tire balancing powder. EQUAL is a dry balancing powder that is installed inside the tire. EQUAL powder adjusts from side to side across the width of the tire to correct dynamic and static imbalance.
